Led a group of three members to create a full-stack web application that displaying the top 5 results based on the query entered by the user, which included the name of the song, artists’ most played songs, and the number of times the song was searched and played worldwide.
Established a connection with Shazam Music API, a RESTFul API, and extracted data according to the user’s request.
Utilized CRUD operations to create, read, update and delete user’s account in the application and meeting authentication and authorization requirements using passport.js.
Mitigated Brute Force Attacks by enforcing and implementing password security measures (password length, restricted passwords, password character inclusion, Database Hashed passwords, etc.)
